 OTB DONATES 10% OF ONLINE SALES TO COMBAT CORONAVIRUS

Breganze (VI), April 2, 2020.

OTB group's social responsibility initiatives are multiplying. Starting yesterday and throughout the entire month of April, in fact, 10% of online sales of its brands Diesel, Maison Margiela and Marni, will be donated to OTB Foundation, for the procurement and distribution of protection kits for medical and paramedical staff at the forefront of the fight against the virus, and of tools to support COVID-19 patients in smaller and lesser known, but no less needy, centers and hospitals. The funds raised will support direct and specific interventions, in continuity with the activities carried out by OTB Foundation from the beginning of the last fundraising to date, namely:

• the donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospital facilities throughout Italy, and to facilities dedicated to the reception of elderly people, for the safety of guests and of those who look after them;

• the procurement and supply of cutting-edge technological equipment to prevent the spread of the virus in environments with patients suffering from COVID-19;

• support in the conversion of hospital wards into sections dedicated to the reception of virus positive patients.

Founded in 2008, OTB Foundation is the group's non-profit organization committed to supporting people and areas of the world in difficult situations, through concrete initiatives and projects with a direct and sustainable social impact. Over the years, the Foundation has intervened in emergency situations, supporting areas and populations affected by natural disasters (as in the case of the major earthquakes in Emilia-Romagna and Central Italy, in 2012 and 2016 respectively).

 OTB ESTABLISHES “BRAVE OTB” SOLIDARITY FUND

Breganze, March 30th, 2020.

In the context of the current health and socio-economic crisis we are experiencing at global level, OTB is implementing a series of actions to support its employees most affected by the emergency.

Among the most significant initiatives is the signing of a national agreement with Confindustria Moda and Federmanager to create the " BRAVE OTB - Solidarity Fund".

According to this agreement, all Italian OTB executives will donate, voluntarily and gratuitously, a minimum of 5 of their contractual paid leave days. The economic value of the days donated will be distributed among lower income employees of the group inactive and in need because of COVID-19.

Being "brave" also means being united and supportive.
